  • Backflow Prevention Devices Malfunctioning: Ensure devices are operational to prevent water contamination and potential water damage.
  • Aluminum Wiring: Check for the presence of aluminum wiring, which could increase fire risk and insurance premiums.
  • Kitec Plumbing: Identify and plan to replace Kitec plumbing to avoid water damage and insurance complications.
  • Insulation Cratering in New Builds within Attic: Verify proper installation and condition of attic insulation to prevent energy loss and water damage.
  • Poly B Piping: Look for Poly B piping, which may need replacement to prevent leaks and ensure insurance coverage.
  • Misgrading of Sewer Line Under Slab: Check for proper sewer line grading to avoid poor drainage and sewage backup risks.

  • Federal Pacific Stab-Lok Breakers: Federal Pacific Stab-Lok breakers are known for failing to trip when overloaded, leading to potential fire hazards. These panels are considered unsafe and may need replacement to prevent electrical fires.
