CLAIMS – CORNERSTONE
If something should happen, and there’s a claim, you’ve got our full support from the moment you call, right on through to final resolution. We’ll help you deal with the necessary forms, depositions and paperwork. We’ll contact the insurance company, and make sure that the adjustor in question has all the facts straight and everything in order.
We’ll guide you through the entire process, and keep you apprised every step of the way. If need be, we’ll mediate on your behalf, and, if there’s ever a dispute (they happen occasionally) we’ll step in as your advocate, pleading your case, to expedite a favorable resolution.
When you’ve done all you can, and the situation’s stabilized, call our office number. We’ll take it from there. If it’s not business hours, and not an emergency, you can wait and call us the next working day. If it is an emergency, however, you can call the after-hours number of whichever company your policy is with. They’ll tell us, and we’ll get back to you, as soon as possible.

WHAT TO DO IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG…
When you’ve regained your senses and looked after your injuries, get immediate witness information. Often, they leave the scene right away. Also, if you have a cell phone that takes pictures, photograph the damage, the license plates, the intersection and the at-fault driver (if applicable). Then, follow the accident checklist we provide in all our pink-card holders. It’ll keep you on track.
When you’ve seen the police (this might be the next day, at the station) and they’ve given you your case number, call us at the number above. A real person will answer the phone, and we’ll take it from there.
If it’s outside business hours, or a statutory holiday, you can report the claim the next business day to us. If it’s an emergency, something that can’t wait, call the after hours emergency number. They’ll help you, but be sure to have your policy number handy. Call us as soon as you can after that, and we’ll take over as soon as we hear about it.
Home or business
If something’s happened at your home or commercial establishment, use common sense. Don’t let things get any worse. If you can prevent further damage, do so. If a pipe bursts, and it’s spraying everywhere – shut the water main off. If burglars have broken in – get out (they might still be there) and call the police.
